How Do I Know My Pool Filter Needs Cleaning?
The pressure gauge is one of the best ways to monitor a pool filter.
Many filter manufacturers recommend cleaning when the pressure rises approximately 10 PSI above the clean starting pressure. Your specific filter may have different instructions, so the manufacturer’s recommendation should always be followed.
